We continue to move forward. It looks different for all of us. The expectations are there. Those expectations from our managers as we work from home, the ones from our children who may be bored and frustrated, and with ourselves who may be very much like our children. I’m in gratitude today that I have food in the fridge, that I have a mask, and that I did my laundry- even if it meant completely disinfecting that shared basement space first. It’s all good because for today I am breathing.
Today, I drew the Moon/Luna card from the Graciella deck. I haven’t seen this one in a while although my faith is deep within this concept. I am a daughter of the Moon.
Graciella speaks; I channel her words, wisdom, and sentiment- Theresa
The image of the card is of a woman who is engaged in an ancient ritual of acknowledging the guidance of the Moon. The moon is a crescent one. Right now, Earth’s moon is in the waxing phase. We can call to the moon and ask for insight to that which is necessary for us to do the work or play that we are meant to on the planet. In our similarities, we each have a service. In our differences, we have our individual gifts. What is mine?
Graciella speaks of her service and gift as being one and the same. It is about sharing and teaching about the concept of Compassion. As she says, Compasión. What loving act may I be humbled to do today? What loving act may I humbly receive? In your meditation, she urges us to ask what our service is. Just as the woman in the above image is faced away from us, we are not privy to her ritual. She trusts the night darkness to keep her secrets. As we walk in our service, how lovely it would be to keep it hidden in connection with our feminine aspects- thoughtfulness, tranquility, mindfulness, and quiet. For today, we do not have to come in yelling, look what I did, look what I did!
The incisive knowing deep within is enough. Is it enough for you?
Under the light of the silvery moon,
Graciella and Theresa
