Meditating, praying, stretching, running, and writing. Those are the activities that have come to my forefront during this time of purposeful isolation. They are also the things I’ve struggled with doing on a regular basis while usually spending ten hour days working in midtown including an hour for commuting each way. I am beginning to wonder how will I maintain this life I’ve begun to cherish once I’m back in the swing of what I knew to be normal. I also wonder whether that life will resume after the crisis of this is behind us.
Today I pulled the Winter/Invierno Card.
Graciella speaks; I channel her words and sentiment- Theresa
This card brings me joy. Graciella reminds us that when winter is here it is a time for hibernation, a time to go inside, and to replenish that which is fruitful. This is a time to let go of what no longer serves us. At the end of the season, we are invited to rejoice in reappearance of what seemed gone. The budding flowers and trees, the stories, the inner growth of ourselves. reemerge and we feel refreshed and ready to begin anew.
Be aware that these times are temporary. This is our invitation to go in deeply and decide what it is that we dispense with and what it is that we wish to grow.
In light and love,
Graciella and Theresa
