Graciella speaks. I channel her words, wisdom and sentiment. -Theresa
Graciella tells us it may be time to let go of old resentments and the bitterness of the heart that accompanies them. The energy that goes into keeping the fires of negativity going is detrimental to the growth and openness that we seek on our life paths.
Do we just swallow the feelings? Do we pretend that we don’t have them? What do we do with them so we just don’t stifle but actually release?
There are many ways to release feelings that no longer serve us. For each of us the release may look different. One person may use several different measures depending on the depth or the expansiveness of the feeling that needs to be released.
Some of us write letters and burn them. Some of us bury them deep in the sand. Others drown them in the lake of love. The speaking of the wound to another usually affords us a type of relief. We ask someone we trust to hear our words. The praying for the person we hold the resentment against and then a prayer for ourselves to seal our love for ourselves has also helped others to heal. You may want to close your eyes and determine within what is the healthiest way for you to release.
After releasing your resentment, allow the space that is left to be quiet in the stillness of healing. Give yourself time to embrace something new and worthy of you into that space.
In light and love,
Graciella and Theresa
