Temptation: Graciella reminds us that temptation has the connotation of many things. We may be tempted to do something but what does that mean to us? We all struggle staying away from things that may not be beneficial for us. Things that may bring us sorrow, regret, and lament. There are those of us who might do a bit better if we stayed away from the ice cream, the drink, or our next door neighbor.
Likewise, we may become tempted by things that seem as though they are out of reach to us. We may have been steered away from certain things by our elders only to find that those fears they had were unfounded. The temptation may take the form of a workshop or a new dress. These may be items that we deny ourselves as we plan for the future. We may not explore the workshop because we aren’t certain that it truly fits into our life plan.
Life is an adventure to be explored. There is always new terrain to cover. Allow yourself an optimistic point of view of the thing you are tempted to engage in and you may find that it is something that would broaden your horizons in life.
In light and love,
