Graciella speaks. I channel her words, wisdom, and sentiment. -Theresa
The Madam/la Madama: Graciella asks us, wouldn’t it be nice to toast yourself and all of your accomplishments?
It’s not uncommon to wait for others to toast and celebrate us. We wait for the go ahead that tells us we’ve achieved something whether in a congratulations, a card, a bouquet of flowers, or a diploma. The certificate turns yellow, the flowers eventually droop, and the card gets placed in a drawer. The congratulatory words may have gone far out into the Universe which is a beautiful thing, but may not have entered our own ecosystems.
We are encouraged to take time and give ourselves the recognition we so desire and so deserve. We are encouraged not to wait for someone else to tell us that we’ve arrived, that we’ve made it, or that we are good enough.
Take the time today to pat yourself on the back and give thanks for what you have done. It’s about time you’ve done that.
In light and love,
Graciella and Theresa
