This Spring I’m honored to join Latina 50 Plus “Café Fuerte Mujeres Fuertes” Writing Workshop series. “Writing to My Ancestors” is a workshop focused on the lessons learned and passed on to us by our Elders: Grandmothers, Godmothers, Aunts, Mentors. How have these powerful figures influenced and nurtured us? What life experiences or lessons have they passed on that we have instilled in our daily lives?
Join us for a series of FREE writing workshops at Poe Center in the Bronx with writers:
Theresa Varela @theresavarelaauthor – March 14
Wendy Angulo @mujer_de_calidad – April 11
Maria Aponte – @latina50plus April 18
This is an intergenerational workshop to honor our ancestors and build our legacies. All are welcomed to join us!
