It’s a rare day that I pick the Writer card. This one is true to my heart and I was surprised to pull it today as the week’s card. I always ask Graciella what is her vision for us to focus on for the coming week. This is the concept she chose.
The image of the type writer shows that it’s an old one. There are beautiful pink roses in a vase behind it. A gold charm bracelet lies carelessly aside. A bowl full of healthy fish swim happily in their own kingdom to the side.
Graciella’s message for this week is this: as you prepare your words in your work, in your personal or other writings, or in events that you will be attending, give time for diplomacy and accuracy in what you are writing. Know that others will be listening or reading your words with fervor. What is your beautiful message for the world?. Today’s social media and ability to go viral should bring to us the importance of choosing words wisely and with care. Am I parroting what others have said? Do I promote their message for self-aggrandizement? Are my words needed or would things be better off if I decided to use the art of silence, peace-making, and love?
Graciella speaks; I channel her words and sentiment- Theresa
Graciella tells me that words can be used to profess love, for fear-mongering, and to provide knowledge. The written word goes far. The ability to use words with a underlying goal of compassion and friendship is a gift. Be aware of the power of words this week. You will never regret words spoken in truth with tact and delicacy.
In love and respect,
Graciella and Theresa
